I have come across a case study where a company that was formed for the purpose of stopping foreclosure by helping the homeowner keep their house. The company promised client that they could stop their foreclosure for a fee in advance and would refund the fee if they were unable to stop the foreclosure process.
That company was all over the net on the first page of google. Now the company reps are put out of business by the FTC for being a dishonest rescue company that would scam homeowners in foreclosure according to the FTC casestudy.
It’s a very stuff situation for homeowners that are facing foreclosure and putting a false hope to stop foreclosure and rescue the homeowner for the gain of your company is wrong and foul. Keeping someones money after not holding through to your word is a scam.
Homeowners facing foreclosure have to be careful of the home rescue companies that claim they can stop foreclosure and help you keep your house for a fee charge upfront for their service. With tough times come great scams and scam artist are on the rise to support their families and lifestyles.
